Terms of use
These terms cover this website and the free tools on it. They do not govern managed services — that is your signed agreement with us, and it takes precedence over anything here.
The free tools
Our email security checker and Microsoft 365 self-check are provided at no cost and without warranty. Specifically:
- They are indicative, not an audit. The email checker reads public DNS records at a point in time. The Microsoft 365 check scores answers you supply yourself. Neither inspects your systems, and neither is a substitute for a professional assessment.
- A good result does not mean you are secure, and it does not mean you are compliant with HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 1, SOC 2, CMMC or anything else. No automated check can determine that.
- Results may be incomplete. DKIM selectors, for one, cannot be enumerated from DNS, so we probe common ones and say so when we find nothing.
- Act on the results at your discretion. Changing DNS or tenant configuration can disrupt mail flow and sign-in. Understand a change before you make it, or ask us.
Acceptable use
Use the tools on domains you own or are authorised to assess. Don't attempt to use them to probe infrastructure you have no right to test, don't automate against them, and don't try to circumvent rate limits. We may block access that looks abusive.
Paid reports
[This section applies only once you enable the paywall. While reports are free, you can leave it — it is accurate either way — but review the refund wording with counsel before charging.]
- Paid reports are delivered immediately on successful payment and are for your own organisation's internal use.
- Payment is processed by Stripe under their terms. We never see your card details.
- Because the report is delivered instantly and in full, we offer refunds at our discretion. If something is wrong with what you received, email info@tnbcg.com and we will make it right.
Our content
The text, design, code and graphics on this site belong to TEKNIK. You may read, print and share pages for your own business purposes. You may not republish substantial portions or present them as your own.
Third-party names and logos shown on this site belong to their respective owners and appear to identify our partnerships. Their appearance does not imply their endorsement of these terms.
Limitation of liability
